RugbyRight is the minimum standard online course for all coaches and match officials in Scotland.

It has been developed by Scottish Rugby to raise awareness of safe practices and to ensure that the environments in which we operate have player welfare at the centre.

RugbyRight is split into a number of chapters that provide instructional videos and useful information on:

Module One: Concussion
Module Two: Player Welfare
Module Three: Safe Coaching Practices
Module Four: Law Update

In line with Scottish Rugby policy, all coaches, teachers and match officials will be required to complete RugbyRight by 31 October 2016. Failure to complete the course may result in actions being taken against your club or school, which may involve reductions to funding and growth opportunities.

RugbyRight is hosted on our new Training Hub (in partnership with Hive). The RugbyRight Book can be located in the Coach Development and Match Officials Groups. If you are a coach or match official operating in Scotland, you get free access to the Scottish Rugby Training Hub. Contact your local Rugby Development Officer or Club Coach Coordinator for the training hub key (access code).

This is not available to those operating outside of Scotland.

For those coaches who are new to the game, and would benefit from a practical workshop, please contact your local Rugby Development Officer for information on Start Rugby Coaching Workshops.
