Blair Kinghorn

Blair Kinghorn, became the 1091st player to represent Scotland when he took the field as replacement in Scotland's 2018 Calcutta Cup victory over England.

The following round he made his first start on the wing (an achievement marked with his first Test try) in defeat to Ireland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

He joined Edinburgh Rugby in May 2015 and joined the on his return from taking part in the World Rugby U20 Championship in Italy, that summer.

He made his professional debut, off the bench, in the 70th minute of Edinburgh round five Guinness PRO12 match against Zebre and scored his first try in the 45-10 defeat of Treviso in the 2016/17 season. 

Kinghorn signed a two-year contract extension with Edinburgh ahead of the 2017/18 season and earned selection to the Scotland for the first time ahead of the 2018 NatWest 6 Nations.

He made his debut against England from the bench in Scotland's victory over England to win the Calcutta Cup in the 2018 NatWest 6 Nations, and made his first the following match with Ireland in Dublin where he also scored his first try for Scotland.
